Infinite Homes

Born during the Covid19 pandemic, the Infinite Homes collection makes use of floor plans that are unique each time, real or invented. The house is perhaps our strongest certainty in an age in which everything changes and evolves at great speed. As in the works Transparency and Kinetic Paper, the concepts that question Stability/Instability and Change also guide the research here.

These surfaces of the early works approach a shape that is quite faithful to the perimeter limits of a real house but lateral so their external border will emulate a recognizable subject such as for example in the Where are you boy? brooch in which the plane is delimited by the shape of a well-known video game joystick. Subsequently the plans will take a three-dimensional formr referring to real elements. These floor plans would have no reason to exist without the positioning of elements that formally or metaphorically contain the concept of change.

Overall, Infinites Homes offers itself as a work with a strong narrative power and consequently takes on a social value.
