Infinites Homes is a narrative-type collection in which even the perimeter of the plans of hypothetical houses suggest a clear form that contributes to the story.
In the Virdarama necklace I have added a new aspect which is the three-dimensionality of the plan. I was inspired by an object that I found in my old family home and that has always intrigued me: a sort of large spoon that was used to take the verdigris to sprinkle on the vine plants. My ancestors, and I myself, have one thing in common: the desire for redemption through art. In addition to being a farmer, my grandfather was a bricklayer but his real passion was poetry. I have extrapolated four of the verses of him that I have reported along two elements of the necklace: La castità del mondo/ ha del fiore il viso/ Devi essere così puro/se vuoi il Paradiso. Malachite with azurite encrustations (copper carbonates) is considered in mineralogy to be the desire to self-overcome and evolve.
